Google has been focusing on new projects that would not only make the web a better place to find answers for what people want but also on how people can make their travel better in the future. Google has lately been working on the self driving car project where they would come up with better technologies that can prevent accidents in the future and offer more convenience to the commuters so that they can focus on their work rather than on the driving. Some of the technology experts at Google have decided to make use of the technology to resolve some of the traffic related issues for the consumers.
Google has come up with cars that have automated technologies but are operated manually at the moment under testing conditions. These vehicles have video cameras, radar sensors and laser range finder to that they can navigate the road in a better way. Google has now announced that their self driving car project have been a success to some extent as these cars have already completed 300,000 miles of testing without any accidents at all. However, they will go one level up now as they will take these cars to snow covered areas and will focus on how to interpret temporary signals and other tricky situations.
