For those of you who haven’t heard me tout it before, the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators is a professional organization of science communicators who specialize in visualizations. Every year they hold a conference in a different area of the country and every year they never cease to amaze me with their talent, innovation, generosity, and collective knowledge. This year’s conference will be held at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia and starts in three short weeks. For anyone with an interest in science communication or illustration, I can’t recommend the conference enough.
